Over the weekend, Phase 2 of the lineup for Illectric River Music Festival was dropped, adding Borgeous and Arius to the list of artists that will be performing March 18th. Borgeous is a regular chart topper and is constantly touring. He’s released many hits off Spinnin’ Records such as “Invincible,” “Wildfire,” and “Zero Gravity.” The American born producer recently teamed up with Australian Tydi and singer Dia to make “Over the Edge,” a follow-up to the successful collab “Wanna Lose You.” You won’t want to miss out on what will surely be one of the festival’s signature sets.
It would have been all too easy to add someone familiar to Texas festival goers, someone that will get on stage and do what just about every dj does but the creators behind Illectric Music Festival wanted to mix it up with the addition of ARIUS, a married duo that brings live instruments and djing together. ARIUS is made up of bass lovers Matt Nguyen and Tessa Lizz. Matt shows off his skills on the decks while Tessa finger drums on a MASCHINE and gets down on an electronic drum kit. Last year ARIUS made tour stops at Stereo Live Houston and Stereo Live Dallas, bringing down the house. This year they will turn it up at Illectric River Music Festival.
Last but not least is the reveal of the local lineup, which included all of the participants from last weekend’s pre-party at Austin’s on the Avenue: Tony Bangz, Toro, Blud Brothers, BP729, Phantom, Ztwist, Jags, and Kollision. Other notable Texas locals will join them on the lineup, including Notic, Mitch Fu, Jerry Wellner, Gingervytus, Badbwoy Bmc, and Sno White to name a few.
